Went to Steers and had a lovely burger and was so happy to see that they sell Slushy's.

Steers/Fishaways Summerstrand hits just the right balance between being a tumultuous hot-spot for night-life's fast-food dining - and a serene, relaxed and welcoming oasis where one can enjoy some quality time alone or with family.
I have frequented these establishments for many years and have seen it in its mightiest strengths and its weakest pitfalls - but so long as the quality of the food and service is consistently good and outweighs the bad, then my review will remain posted.
Most of the staff are mostly in a good mood most of the time. Some are beacons of positivity and encouragement, while others prefer to be a bit more reserved at times. However,, they are always welcoming and do enjoy the occassional small talk here and there and the roaring laughter of exchanged humours!
It is almost a daily occurrence for managers to go above and beyond their duties to help those with minor misfortunes or difficult emergencies.
There are very few slackers. Few.
The music is quite pleasant and diversified, as are most of the customers. To find fault in the 5 to 10 minutes of music being played while one waits in the shop, is to find fault in one's own tolerance. After so many years, I'm confident that the franchise knows very well the volume and diversity of their clientele, much better than any individual client could.
Steers/Fishaways is located in a special spot. It has the convenience of a laundry, petrol station, a water refill shop and access to some important roads. The staff, from top to bottom, are committed to keeping the site safe, secure and tidy.
I've never had a problem with my order, but then again I have my problems in order, so good karma prevails! The staff are mature and responsible enough to be able to handle problems and complaints with mutual respect, tolerance and understanding.
When you visit a place enough times, you learn the realities of said place. Things can go wrong, things break, people have lives - but they push through and the day goes on.
It is unfortunate that people choose to be obnoxious, ungrateful or even spiteful in their reviews - leaving a bad impression of self-entitlement unto themselves, mostly.
Constructive criticism is always stronger than demeaning beratement and it may also spare one's own integrity and honour.
Overall,, Steers/Fishaways has become the proverbial Italian Mafia Familia Restuarant that protects, knows well and informs true its community; while delivering genuine, quality experiences.
A local meet-up where you can catch-up with friends, students and business colleagues, of new and old, or even family!
Also,, much better atmosphere and attitude than the Boardwalk, hands down.
The place has a strong character and passionate personalities.
Catch it fresh.. it just tastes better.
everything was on point, from customer service to food deliciousness 👍🏽
